| A cold front crosses west to east through the day, with rain/storms expected. The front will be just west of I 69 by early-mid afternoon (1-2 pm EDT) and progress eastward through the evening hours. Severe weather is most likely during that time frame, especially east of I 69 (slight risk area-level 1). There is medium confidence in severe weather occurring. It is possible that storms could remain sub-severe until they exit our forecast area. The main threat would be damaging wind. The threat for tornadoes is low. Moderate-heavy rain this morning into the early evening could cause flooding in areas that have received greater rainfall this week. |
