| Freezing rain is expected over much of the U.P. through this morning, with sleet mixed in over the west and north-central. Temperatures will rise above freezing late this morning and into the early afternoon, ending the freezing rain threat. Tree damage and power outages are likely due to significant ice accumulations of up to 0.4 inches. If you must travel, take it slow and have a winter survival kit in your vehicle. |
