* WHAT...For the first Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot
conditions with heat index values up to 109 possible. For the
second Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat
index values up to 111 possible.

* WHERE...Eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.

* WHEN...For the first Extreme Heat Watch, from 1:00 PM Sunday
afternoon until 8:00 PM Sunday evening. For the second Extreme
Heat Watch, from 1:00 PM Monday afternoon until 8:00 PM Monday
evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

Information:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.

you can call 211 for assistance locating appropriate shelter from
