Cloud cover will increase throughout the day on Wednesday, as remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine will slowly move into the area. Afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible mainly south of Interstate 70. Showers are expected to move north of Interstate 70 by late Wednesday evening. Widespread rain, as well as periods of heavy rainfall can be expected throughout the day on Thursday, with the best chance for flooding rains primarily south and east of Interstate 70 on Thursday. Some areas along and north of Interstate 70 could also see periods of moderate to heavy rain on Thursday.
